International Artist in Residence Open Ateliers Amsterdam Zuidoost (AIR OAZO)

AIR OAZO is part of Open Ateliers Zuidoost a not for profit organization that manages 60 art studios spaces. As of 2011 the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts (AFK) funded a pilot to turn two spaces into a work studo and a living studio available for an international artist in residence progam. We invite artists and cultural producers to live and work temporarily in Amsterdam Zuidoost. The residency can be used for both project research or realisation for a project or work of art. The residency needs to relate to Amsterdam Zuidoost and its cultural divers society. The artist will work independently.

Artist need to email a one page proposal which includes:
Period they want to work/live in Amsterdam Zuidoost
Description of the work/project they want to work on while in Amsterdam Zuidoost This includes describing why Amsterdam Zuidoost inspires the artist, possible collaborations with artists / organizations in the area and if and what the end result / presentation and/or impact of this residency will be for the artist and what for Amsterdam Zuidoost
a selection of relevant images to support your idea, which gives us an insight in your work. Duration 1 - 3 months.
